Answer every enquiry. Built to never guess a clinical one.
An AI assistant that answers hours, location, and insurance questions from your FAQ — and hands clinical topics straight to a person instead of guessing. You choose the blocked topics. Capture the lead even when your front desk is closed.
Topic-restricted AI
Set the topics that should always go to a human — diagnosis, medication, anything clinical. The AI hands those off immediately instead of attempting an answer.
After-hours lead capture
A visitor who messages at 9pm still gets their name and email captured. You reply from your inbox in the morning — the enquiry isn't lost.
Privacy-first by default
No cookies, no visitor tracking. GhostChat is a lead-capture and FAQ tool, not a records system — it isn't designed to handle clinical data.
What this is, and what it isn't
GhostChat handles the questions every clinic gets dozens of times a week — hours, location, parking, insurance accepted, what to bring to a first visit — and captures the contact details of anyone asking after hours. That's it doing its job well.
It is not a way to triage symptoms, give medical advice, or replace a conversation with clinical staff. The blocked-topic handoff exists specifically so the AI stays in its lane: general front-desk questions, not anything that needs a clinician's judgment. Set your blocked topics broadly if you're unsure — it costs you nothing to hand off more, not less.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the AI be stopped from answering clinical questions?
Yes. You set a list of topics or keywords (e.g. "diagnosis", "medication", "dosage") that always trigger an immediate handoff to a person, instead of the AI attempting an answer. Outside of those topics, it answers general questions from your FAQ — hours, location, insurance accepted, what to bring to a first appointment — and hands off the moment it isn't confident.
What happens to an enquiry if nobody's available to answer?
The visitor is asked for their name and email before the conversation ends, and you get notified by email or push notification. You can reply straight from your inbox — the lead isn't lost just because it came in outside office hours.
Does GhostChat track visitors or store data insecurely?
GhostChat sets no cookies and never tracks visitors across sites — the widget is privacy-first by default, which matters more on a healthcare site than almost anywhere else. Note: GhostChat is a chat and lead-capture widget, not a medical records system — it isn't designed to collect or hold clinical data, and you shouldn't ask visitors to share protected health information inside the chat.
Can I verify who I'm actually talking to?
Identity verification (available on the Business plan) lets you cryptographically confirm a visitor's identity before responding — useful if your practice already has patients logged into a portal and wants that identity carried into the chat.
How much does this cost for a clinic?
The AI assistant is on the Pro + AI plan ($15/mo), which includes the FAQ-grounded AI, blocked-topic handoff, and after-hours lead capture. A clinic with multiple staff checking messages may prefer the Business plan for shared team access.
